Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Support Worker to work at one of our Independent Hospitals in East Surrey.

Shifts: Monday to Sunday

• This hospital provides practical, local and emotional support to people around the UK. They provide services designed to help people most in need in the UK. Some of their health services in England are rated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
• This charity mission is to speak up for and improve the lives of people in the UK. They represent the voice of people in crisis to government. We produce evidence-based reports and policy recommendations. We regularly call for changes to legislation and policies that affect people who need our help.
• As a support worker, you are someone who looks after the well-being of people in their daily lives. You will help patients living with different physical disabilities and mental health needs to live their lives more independently and support them to reach their potential by providing both physical and emotional support.

Person Specification

The successful applicant must have:

• UK driving licence and care owner is mandatory as you will be travelling to patient homes (travel cost covered by the company)
• GCSEs (preferred) in certain subjects, such as Maths, English, or Health and Social care
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience working within Mental Health
• Fantastic communication and Interpersonal skills
• Emotional maturity, compassion and empathy
• Ability to work flexibly and commit to working hours mentioned above.
• It would be beneficial if the applicant is a driver due to the location and shift start times but there is local transport nearby.
