We are looking for 2 to 3 carers to provide care and support, ensuring sufficient coverage. The position involves 12 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, following these shifts: 9am – 9.30am for morning calls and around 5pm for teatime calls.

The lady is very outgoing but suffers from significant pain. She loves talking with her friends and daughter. She is bed-bound due to her disability and experiences mental health challenges related to her pain and being confined to bed. She values having her own decisions regarding bedding and food. Care must be gentle, explained clearly, and tailored to her needs, especially during pain episodes when she might be quiet.

The Direct Payments Support Service, provided by East Riding of Yorkshire Council, promotes independent choice and inclusion, enabling individuals to employ their own care and support staff. We assist with advertising and recruitment for various roles including support workers, carers, and personal assistants.
