Surrey Independent Living Charity is seeking a caring Personal Assistant to support a 14-year-old girl with severe learning disabilities and autism at home in Godalming. The role involves after-school sessions, personal care, play and helping with meals and routines.

We welcome applications from people able to commit up to 12 hours per week, with additional weekend and school holiday hours available. Full training and guidance will be provided.

Descrizione del lavoro

• Up to 12 hours per week across three sessions, usually between the times of 4pm and 7.30/8pm
• Extra ad hoc, variable hours available at weekends, as well as half terms and school holidays
• Applications encouraged from those seeking any number of hours up to the maximum available

• Ad hoc weekend and school holiday hours

About the Role

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and patient Personal Assistant to support a happy 14-year-old girl with severe learning disabilities and autism. She is non-verbal and requires support with all aspects of daily living. The successful applicant will work alongside her family to help her feel safe, secure, engaged and happy within her home environment.
