Job description

Support Worker

Location: Glasgow South Side

Shift: Day shifts

Salary: £12.60 per hour

Hours: 25 hours per week

The Role

You will join a dedicated team at our supported living service in Glasgow. Your daily tasks will include promoting independence and supporting individuals to achieve their goals, including:

  • Preparing and administering medication
  • Cooking meals based on individuals' preferences
  • Providing personal care for males and females
  • Assisting with healthcare appointments
  • Supporting financial management
  • Encouraging participation in activities like swimming, dining out, and visiting family

Shifts and Working Hours

25 hours per week, on a rota basis, with shifts two or three days per week between 8am and 9pm. Flexibility is required as shifts vary weekly, including weekends.

Previous experience is preferred, but full training will be provided. A full UK driving license is advantageous, especially as one support worker has access to a mobility car. An enhanced Adult PVG check is required.
