Due to very high demand, we are actively recruiting Support Workers to cover shifts set in homeless hostels, Hubs, and supported living projects in the Hampshire area, including but not limited to Fareham and Gosport.

We are looking for individuals who preferably have experience supporting homeless adults and post-16 young people, or within a similar career background managing challenging behaviors. Substance misuse experience is desirable but not essential.

Our client offers day shifts from 9:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday, with a minimum of one in every four Saturdays.

This role involves supporting vulnerable adults across various locations during each shift. Applicants must hold a full UK driving license and have their own vehicle (mileage can be claimed between locations).

Ideal Support Workers will possess the skills and mindset to work with vulnerable individuals who have faced traumatic issues leading to their current situation. Candidates should be emotionally resilient, patient, empathetic, and understand the importance of consistency in their approach and communication. The ability to maintain safe boundaries is crucial, as some individuals may display challenging and unpredictable behaviors.
