CareTech is recruiting a Support Worker for the Fareham service, Park Lane, to provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. The role is permanent, full-time, with a 37.5-hour rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.

You will assist with daily living skills, maintain records, promote independence and dignity, and participate in community activities.

Formación

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech).

Support Worker

Location: Fareham, Hampshire

Rate: £12.71 per hour

Permanent | Full-time | 37.5 hours per week (rota-based)

About the Service - Park Lane

Park Lane is a five bedded residential care home, located on the outskirts of Fareham, a market town at the northwest tip of Portsmouth Harbour, between the cities of Portsmouth and Southampton in south east Hampshire.

The town can be accessed by rail or road links via the M27 and A27. Fareham is a modern and thriving town, offering a gateway to a wealth of social, vocational and educational opportunities.

Park Lane supports men and women with complex or enduring mental health disorders who have demonstrated the ability to gain further independence and functionality in a community setting.

The Role

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.

No previous experience? No problem! If you have the passion, we’ll provide full training and a structured induction programme.
