Are you seeking a rewarding career where you can make a difference? Our friendly team at Charnwood Supported Living is looking for a part-time support worker. We operate across two houses supporting up to 8 adults with learning disabilities, Autism, Physical disabilities, and Sensory impairments. This role offers an opportunity to work as part of a team to provide person-centered care.

About the Role

We seek individuals to deliver high-quality support to adults with learning disabilities in our Supported Living Service. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, promoting choice and independence, and supporting individual needs.

No prior formal care experience is required; we value shared values and a commitment to diversity and individuality. Training will be provided, and a supportive team will mentor and guide you.

You will adhere to Leicestershire County Council’s Employee Code of Conduct and the Skills for Care Code of Conduct for Adult Social Care Workers. We will cover training costs and the DBS check for this regulated activity.

About You

  • Be able to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays;
  • Be capable of writing clear, concise records;
  • Assist with moving and handling using available equipment.
