Job summary

A care service provider is seeking support workers to assist customers in supported living accommodations around Derbyshire. Responsibilities include providing personal care, assisting with medication, and light household chores. Candidates should have good communication skills, at least 6 months of experience in care, and be willing to pursue NVQ/QCF level 2 certification. A DBS check is required, as well as references from previous employers. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid DBS registered on the update service or be willing to complete a check.
• Experience in care for at least 6 months is ideal.
• Must be willing to attend training.

Responsibilities

• Supporting customers with personal care tasks.
• Assisting with administering medication.
• Preparing light meals and assisting with eating and drinking.
• Helping with light household chores.

Job description

We are recruiting for support workers to work in supported living accommodations around Derbyshire ( Mansfield Nottingham and Nottinghamshire)

Role will include

• supporting customers with personal care tasks
• Assisting with administering medication
• Assisting with eating and drinking/ preparing of light meals and snacks
• Assisting with light household chores

Requirement

• Candidate must have a DBS that is registered on the updated services or willing to complete a check
• Must be able to provide a reference from last employer ( As one reference must be a professional reference)
• Must be willing to attend training

Ideal candidate to have at least 6 months paid experience in working in care.

• Hold NVQ/ QCF level 2 or above or willing to work towards achieving the qualification
