Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking passionate Support Workers for a supported-living unit in the Nottingham area. You will support adults with learning disabilities, including autism, aiding mobility and nutrition while prioritising physical and psychological wellbeing.

You will carry out activities to enhance quality of life, promote independence, and help residents learn essential life skills. Ongoing hours and potential permanent roles are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months experience in a care environment
• DBS dated within last 6 months or registered on update service
• All relevant mandatory training up-to-date
• Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
• Willingness to make a difference

Job description

Urgently seeking Support Workers that are interested in working closely with another member of staff, Supporting individuals with Autism and Learning Difficulties!

We are looking for passionate Support Workers to join an existing team of Support Workers within a supported-living unit within the Nottingham area of Nottingham. You will be supporting adults who are living with learning disabilities such as autism.

As a support worker at this home, you will aid the service user’s mobility and nutritional needs, whilst ensuring that physical and psychological wellbeing is the utmost priority.

You will carry out activities with the resident that with enhance their quality of life. You will promote their independence and help them learn the necessary life skills.

For this role, you must have;

• - A minimum of 3 months experience in a Care environment
• - A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service or the facility to pay for one upfront
• - All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access online training platforms.
• - Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
• - A willingness to make a difference

We have ongoing hours available and potentially a permanent role for the right candidates!

Shift times are :-

• Long Days – 0800 to 2200
• There are other shifts available on request.

Rates of pay are £13.50 per hour. Other shifts are available at premium rates. You will also accrue up to 28 days paid holiday per year.
