Tamfol is seeking a Residential Support Worker to provide compassionate care and support for children and young people. You will help develop tailored care plans, promote safe routines, and work with families and professionals to ensure consistent support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a care or childcare setting.
• Strong communication with children, families and professionals.
• Ability to develop and follow detailed care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Valid driving license for transportation duties.
• Good IT skills for record keeping and reporting.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Support children in their daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational activities.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans to meet each child's individual needs and goals.
• Foster open communication with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent support.
• Maintain accurate records of progress, incidents, and care activities using IT systems.
• Drive children to appointments, activities, or outings as needed while ensuring safety and adherence to road safety regulations.
• Promote positive behavior through encouragement, guidance, and conflict resolution strategies.
• Assist in creating a welcoming environment that encourages independence and confidence.
