Job description

We have an exciting opportunity to join Newland Hurst as a support worker. You will be supporting people with learning disabilities to live fulfilling, fun and active lives within the Droitwich area of Worcestershire.

We support 16 people to follow their individual interests and passions as well as supporting them to access their local services and leisure activities.

Duties will include
  • Assisting with person-centred day-to-day tasks
  • Aiding with any clinical requirements/appointments
  • Helping with peoples development, personal and social
  • Building strong relationships with residents, family members and encourage new friendships
  • Encouraging integration and participation within the local community
Pay

Base rate of £12.80 per hour, which increases to £13.32 per hour in April

Sleep in paid at £40.15

Shifts

Full time or part time positions are available

Morning: 7am to 2:15pm

Evening: 2:15pm to 10pm

Alternate weekend availability essential

Sleep in shifts: 10pm to 7am

Must be available for all shifts
