Job summary

Radis Community Care is looking for a caring individual to join our team as a Waking Nights Support Worker in Bideford, North Devon. The role is part-time, with shifts from 10pm to 7am, across Week 1 and Week 2 as described.

You will help people live independently at home and in the community, supporting with personal care, medication, meals, day-to-day tasks and community access while promoting dignity and choice.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work 10pm–7am night shifts.
• Experience in personal care tasks and medication support.
• Ability to work with people in their own homes and communities.

Responsibilities

• Support people to live independently within their own home and local community.
• Assist with personal care tasks including washing and dressing.
• Support with medication administration.
• Assist with meal preparation.
• Support with accessing the local community and activities.
• Support with day-to-day household duties.
• Ensure consistent support with the same people on a daily basis.

As a Support Worker you will be working with people to live independently within their own home and local community by

• Pay enhanced rates for NVQ's
• Ensuring you have the same people to support on a daily basis
• Supporting with personal care tasks including washing, dressing etc.
• Supporting with medication administration
• Supporting with meal preparation
• Supporting with accessing the local community e.g., Shopping, activities, trips
• Supporting with day-to-day household duties
• Supporting with any other day routines the people we support have
