Three Bridges is a female-only service supporting four ladies with diverse needs, including emotional support, learning coping mechanisms, and transitioning into adulthood.

The role involves supporting individuals to lead a fulfilling, ordinary life filled with opportunities, fun, and achievement of personal goals. The role can be challenging, but the rewards are significant. For example, one individual has transitioned from 26 years in a hospital to living independently in the service for two years. Others have paid employment or attend college. The ladies enjoy outings such as trips to Brighton, clubbing, karaoke, dining out, and event planning.

You should be adaptable, flexible, mature, and committed to supporting independence through empowerment, active support, positive risk-taking, and innovative thinking. Please note that some individuals may self-harm, experience anxiety, or display behaviors of concern.

Currently, all supported individuals receive several hours of 1:1 support during the day, along with shared support during day and night shifts. We seek passionate individuals interested in working with people experiencing enduring mental health challenges, with an interest in the psychology of complex behaviors and a willingness to learn and apply Positive Behaviour Support.

Active Prospects is recruiting for Day and Night Support Worker(s) to join our complex care team in Crawley, West Sussex.

Three Bridges Road is conveniently located near public transport, with a short walk from bus stops and train stations. Drivers are welcome, and free onsite parking is available.

In return, we offer a competitive pay rate of £12.75 per hour, with additional pay on some Bank Holidays and enhanced pay when taking maternity, paternity, or adoption leave.
