Job summary

CareTech seeks compassionate support workers for a brand-new supported living scheme in Wythenshawe, helping adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs live independently.

You will support personal care, wellbeing, cooking, and daily living activities, while enabling access to community opportunities and meaningful relationships. DBS checks are provided; drivers preferred but not essential. Attractive leave entitlement and a values-led team accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs is valued.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Confidence working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

About the Service

You will support adults aged 18+ with a range of needs, including:

• Learning Disabilities


• Autism


• ADHD


• Anxiety


• Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD)

• Trauma-related Needs


• Self-Harming Behaviours
