We invite you to join us as a Support Worker at our service, Hunters Moor in Birmingham.

Hunters Moor accommodates 42 patients requiring neurorehabilitation, which may include complex physical rehabilitation needs.

We have onsite chefs who freshly prepare meals for all residents, ensuring every dish is of the highest quality.

Our physiotherapy gym helps residents regain cognitive abilities and supports their recovery process.

We also have a private, spacious garden where residents can enjoy the outdoors safely and at their leisure.

What you'll be working:
  • Days and nights shifts
  • Options of 33 or 44 hours per week (3 or 4 long shifts)
  • Follow a 2-week rota
  • Work every other weekend
What you'll be doing:
  • Support patients at Hunters Moor by working closely with the Multi-Disciplinary team to deliver timely and appropriate rehabilitation
  • Focus on patient rehabilitation journeys, empowering independence through personal care, health support, community access, and emotional support
  • Monitor therapy-led rehabilitation plans aligned with patient outcomes
  • Participate in holistic patient management decisions
  • Engage with new initiatives within the team to develop your role
What you'll have:
  • Willingness to learn and undergo training
  • A passion for care
  • Previous healthcare experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
  • A genuine interest in providing person-centred care
  • Successful candidates will need to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
