Job summary

Bedford Borough Council’s Adult Services team is recruiting a Support Worker to visit individuals in the community, hospital, and various bedded settings in Bedford and surrounding areas. You will support independence using a strengths-based approach and must have a UK driving licence with an insured vehicle.

The role offers a flexible working environment and a development plan within a supportive team. The team values excellent communication, active listening, and good IT skills to maintain

We are looing for someone who is passionate about supporting individuals to remain as independent as possible by using a strengths based approach to assess their needs. You will need to be an excellent communicator, a good listener and have reasonable I.T. skills

You will visit Individuals in the community, in the hospital and in various bedded settings in Bedford and surrounding areas and will require a UK Driving licence and suitably insured vehicle.
