Job Summary:

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in a care home environment. The role involves providing practical and emotional support to residents, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support residents with daily living activities such as personal care, dressing, and mobility

• Encourage and support residents in maintaining their independence

• Assist with meals and ensure dietary requirements are met

• Build strong, trusting relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

• Follow individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs

• Monitor and report changes in residents' health and wellbeing to senior staff

• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment

• Support residents with recreational and social activities

• Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high standards of care

Requirements:

• A caring and empathetic nature

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

• Right to work in the UK

• Previous experience in a similar care role is an advantage but not essential
