I was born in 2000 and live with complex physical, psychological, and communication needs due to an injury at birth. But thats just one part of my storyIm fun-loving, sociable, and I love getting outdoors, shopping, attending day services, and having a good laugh with my support team. Keeping things upbeat and engaging is really important to me.
Im looking for
Support Workersto join my care teampeople who are calm, proactive, and bring a sense of structure and fun to my day. Youll be helping me live life to the fullest, supporting me with daily activities, personal care, mobility, and social outings. I use a wheelchair and am gastrostomy fed, so confidence in these areas is essential.
Hours & Pay
- Approx. 116 hours per 4-week cycle(avg. 29 hours/week)
- Flexible shifts can be shared by more than one person
- Bank hours available
Pay Rates
- Pay Rate 1: £13.23 per hour, Monday to Friday days and Waking nights
- Pay Rate 2: £15.44 per hour, Weekend days
- Pay Rate 3: £17.64 per hour, Bank Holidays
- £NLW (Currently £12.21 p/h for age 21+), Weekday Sleeping Nights (11pm7am)
- £NLW (Currently £12.21 p/h for age 21+) + £1, £13.21/hr Weekend Sleeping Nights (11pm7am)
- £31.20 per shift On Standby
Driving & Travel
- Youll need yourown carto get to work (rural location)
- Youll also be drivingmy adapted automatic vehicle
- Use of your own vehicle may be needed for training
Experience
Essential:
- Experience supporting children/young adults with neuro disabilities
Desirable
- Qualifications or experience with severe disabilities

- I live in afully adapted family homewith a separate carers entrance, room, and kitchen
- We have avery friendly family dog(who does bark!)
