We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to join our team at National Neurological Services Limited – Rosglen based in Barnsley.
Rosglen Neurological Centre is a 6-bedded residential service providing accommodation and 24-hour support. We are a specialist neurological service that offers residential support for adults following a brain injury or with a neurological condition. Our progression model provides transitional, long-term residential support in a well-equipped setting.
We encourage our individuals to access the community, local facilities, and participate in meaningful activities that keep them motivated and stimulated.
Our bedrooms are fully furnished with a kitchenette area and an ensuite wet room. Everyone also has access to the modern communal living area equipped with Netflix, a range of board games, books, and activities. The kitchen and dining area lead onto our enclosed garden, which is secure and accessible for all.

The role of a National Care Group Support Worker
You will work with individuals who have complex needs. We are looking for a respectful and caring individual who can passionately support our young adults to fulfill their potential. This role can be challenging but also highly rewarding.
· Build positive relationships by listening, discussing, and planning goals and ambitions together.
· Help plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning, and running errands.
· Assist with personal care, including support with eating and administering medication.
· Help plan and participate in activities and outings they wish to enjoy.
· Make a positive impact by supporting independence whenever possible.
