We are currently recruiting for a Family Support Worker to join an established Children with Disabilities team in the Barnsley area.

This position offers:

1. 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
2. Initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension
3. Hybrid working available - a minimum of 3 days in the office required

The primary responsibilities include undertaking short break assessments, annual reviews, supervising family time, life story work, and providing support to families as needed.

Driving is essential for this role. Candidates must have a full clean driving license and access to their own vehicle with business insurance.

Essential requirements:

• Experience working with children, young people, and families
• Managing risk and a strong knowledge of safeguarding and intervention thresholds
• Valid UK driving license
