Job summary

Cygnet Health Care’s new 24-bed adult hospital in Derbyshire seeks a Support Worker to deliver enhanced care and practical support across day and night shifts. Training is provided, and no prior healthcare experience is required; an enhanced DBS check is mandatory.

You will support medical and welfare needs, maintain a safe and clean environment, and build meaningful relationships with people in care while working flexibly with overtime opportunities.

Job description

Support Worker post at Cygnet Elowen Hospital, a new 24-bed adult hospital in Derbyshire operated for Cygnet Health Care. Daily work covers enhanced care, physical and emotional support, medical and welfare needs, reporting, safeguarding and keeping the environment clean. The hospital's two specialist wards treat adults with eating disorders and complex personality disorders with disordered eating, on 42-hour weeks covering day and night shifts. No previous healthcare experience is needed because training is provided, but an enhanced DBS check is required.
