Job summary

Westcountry Case Management Ltd seeks a care worker to support a gentleman in his own home in Ashburton. The role includes admin and domestic tasks, enabling community participation and engagement in social activities, plus gym and hydrotherapy participation to promote independence.

Applicants must have a full driving licence and own car. A fully enhanced DBS and DBS Update Service registration are required.

Responsibilities

• Admin tasks and domestic support in client's home
• Assist client to access the community and participate in social & leisure activities
• Encourage and help with participation in gym and hydrotherapy programmes
• Support client to be as independent as possible
• Maintain safeguarding and comply with policy requirements

Job description

Required to work with a gentleman with a brain injury in his own home in Ashburton. Role will involve admin and domestic support, assistance to access the community, engagement in social & leisure activities, participation in a gym and hydrotherapy programme, enabling him to be an independent individual.

Previous experience, full driving licence and own car are essential.

This position requires a fully enhanced disclosure request from the DBS.

You will also be required to register with the DBS Update Service.
