Job summary

Inotiv in Belton, NW Leicestershire, seeks a hands-on Facilities Operator to support an animal unit. You will load and unload cages, operate decontamination equipment, and ensure items are cleaned and ready for use.

Role involves stock handling, daily housekeeping, and following PPE protocols. Driving and access to a vehicle required; fixed-term 18 months. Starting salary £26,501 with 33 days holiday and core benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machines/machinery and cleaning/sanitising.
• Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting, loading, unloading) and PPE.
• Great teamwork with a proactive approach and flexibility.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the animal unit to ensure staff have what they need.
• Operate decontamination equipment to clean and sterilise goods.
• Receive, process and distribute goods within the unit; restock and perform stock takes.
• Carry out daily facility housekeeping and sanitise floors, surfaces and work areas.
• Observe PPE protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment.
