Job summary

Inotiv, Inc. is seeking a Support Technician (cage wash) in Belton, Leicestershire, UK. This is a fixed-term full-time role from 07:30 to 15:45, 5 days a week, with a starting salary of £26,501.

Your duties include operating cage washing and decontamination equipment, receiving and routing goods, stocking stores, and maintaining a clean and safe unit through regular housekeeping and PPE-compliant tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machines and cleaning/sanitising.
• Able to perform physical tasks (lifting/loading/unloading) with PPE.
• Good spoken and written English; able to understand instructions.
• Compassionate and humane approach to animals.

Responsibilities

• Operate decontamination equipment to clean and sterilise goods.
• Soak animal cages, jet wash, and load/unload cage cleaning machines.
• Receive, process and distribute goods within the unit; restock stores.
• Carry out regular stock takes to ensure supplies are maintained.
• Daily facility housekeeping; sanitise floors and surfaces for a safe environment.
