Choice Support seeks a Team Manager to lead a support team at a service for people with learning disabilities and autistic people. The role focuses on keeping individual support plans current, guiding staff through training and settling-in, and running rotas and safe staffing with the management team.

Candidates should have around two years in social care and hold Level 3 in Health & Social Care and Leadership & Management or be willing to work towards it.

Qualificações

• Level 3 in Health & Social Care and Leadership & Management or willingness to work towards it.
• Around two years' experience in social care.
• Understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Keep individual support plans up to date reflecting people’s needs.
• Support and guide the team, including training new staff.
• Plan rotas and recruit to ensure adequate staffing.
• Collaborate with management to run services smoothly.
• Lead by example, maintain safety, respect, and clear communication.
• Keep accurate records and conduct regular quality checks.
• Hold monthly staff development meetings and participate in on‑call rota.
