Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative is seeking an Assistant Service Manager in Brecon & Churchstoke to help ensure a safe, caring service for the people we support. You will work alongside the Service Manager to lead the day-to-day operations, supervise staff, and maintain a high standard of person-centred support.
Shifts may include sleep-ins and travel between locations. You will join a values-driven cooperative dedicated to enriching lives, with a focus on independence and community integration.

£29,149.91pa and our sleep-in shifts at £60 per night and our travel expenses is paid 55p per mile

In this role you’ll be working alongside the Service Manager to ensure a safe and caring service for the people we support and our colleagues. To do this successfully, you’ll be visible in the day-to-day operation of the service supporting duties in line with the requirements of the people we support. You’ll be working shifts on a rota basis which may include sleep ins. In the absence of the Service Manager, you'll have responsibility for the day to day running of the service. This will involve providing leadership and management to the team, monitoring performance, carrying out one to one’s and appraisals and holding team meetings.

Above all else, your focus will be on achieving the highest levels of independence for the people we support, and on organising and modelling that support in an innovative, person-centred and flexible way to make everyday remarkable.
