Kingdom is a key partner to Drax Power Station, Selby, YO8, and we are offering an exciting opportunity for a Support Security Officer & Supervisor role.

Requirements:

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
• Supervisory experience

Hours: Average 40 hours/week, including shifts from 06:00 – 18:00 / 18:00 – 06:00, covering days, nights, and weekends, with additional shifts from 06:00 – 14:00 / 10:00 – 18:00, Monday to Friday.

Salary: £13.68 per hour plus a welcome bonus.

Holidays: 28 days.

Welcome Bonus:

• £250 for those with SIA Door Supervisor Licence & Supervisory experience, after passing 3-month probation.
• £500 for those with both SIA Door Supervisor and CCTV Licences, after passing 3-month probation.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the core team in security duties across shifts.
• Acting as Shift Supervisor during absences.
• Conducting patrols and maintaining safety and security.
• Following site-specific safety procedures and emergency responses.
• Completing reports on observations and incidents.
• Handling challenging situations professionally.
• Performing tasks such as mobile patrols, foot patrols, gatehouse duties, and vehicle searches.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential)
• SIA CCTV Licence (preferred, but willing to attain)
• Own transport and full UK driving licence
• Strong communication skills
• Experience as Security Officer & Supervisor
• Knowledge of legal safety guidelines
• Report writing skills
• Excellent surveillance skills
• Flexible and available at short notice
