You don't need experience as a Support Worker or formal qualifications to start your career with us; we recruit based on values and transferable skills. We will pay you during your training and provide all the practical skills you'll need. We’ll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and cover your yearly SSSC registration fees!
You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team providing residential, respite, and day care support to individuals with various disabilities and additional support needs.
Focusing on promoting independence, you will work in a person-centred way to support daily living activities, including cooking, personal care, medication administration, and managing personal finances. You will also support clients in engaging with hobbies and interests such as cooking, baking, dominoes, basketball, walks, and trips to the local pub.
Our support shifts typically run between 0700-2100 hours, including sleepovers, waking nights, weekends, and public holidays on a rotational basis.
Sleepover shifts are paid at an additional £100.80 per shift. Waking night shifts are paid at your normal hourly rate plus an extra £20 per night.
