You do not need prior experience or specific qualifications to start your career with us. We recruit based on values and transferable skills. We will pay for your training and provide all the practical skills you need. We also fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and cover your yearly SSSC registration fees!
You will be part of a friendly team supporting individuals with disabilities and additional needs through residential, respite, and day care services.
Focusing on independence, you will work in a person-centered manner to assist with daily activities such as cooking, personal care, medication administration, and managing finances. You will also support hobbies and interests like cooking, baking, dominoes, basketball, walks, and trips to the local pub.
Shifts typically run between 07:00 and 21:00 hours, including sleepovers, waking nights, weekends, and public holidays on a rotational basis. Sleepovers are not part of your contracted hours but are paid at £100.80 per shift. Waking night shifts are paid at your normal hourly rate plus an additional £20 per night.
