Support Practitioner - Female Driver Only

Our Castle Douglas team are on the lookout for compassionate and creative individuals with a positive attitude to join them as Support Practitioners.

This is a full-time post consisting of 35 hours per week. Shifts include evenings and weekends.

No prior care experience is required; we recruit based on values and transferable skills. We provide comprehensive training, including a fully funded SVQ.

Due to the nature of the service, only female applicants with a valid UK manual driving license and access to their own car will be considered.

The Role

As a Support Practitioner, you will assist individuals living in their own homes with disabilities and/or additional support needs, supporting with medication, finances, housework, meal prep, cooking, and personal care.

You will engage with their hobbies, from dining out and movies to gym sessions and group activities.

Shift Patterns

Support is provided 24/7, with shifts including early, late, and sleepovers, starting at 9 am until 9 am the following day, with sleep hours between 11 pm and 7 am. Some flexibility in start and end times may be required.
