You don't need experience as a Support Worker or qualifications to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferable skills. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!
You’ll become part of a fun, friendly team providing residential, respite, and day care support to individuals with various disabilities and additional support needs.
With a focus on maintaining and promoting independence, you will work in a person-centred way to support all aspects of daily living, including cooking, personal care, administering medication, and managing personal finances. You’ll also support hobbies and interests like cooking, baking, dominoes, basketball, walks, and trips to the local pub.
Shifts typically fall between 07:00-21:00 hours, including sleepovers, waking nights, weekends, and public holidays on a rotational basis. Sleepovers are not in your contracted hours; you'll receive an additional £100.80 per sleepover shift. Waking night shifts are paid at your normal rate plus an extra £20 per night.
