Job summary

Turning Point Scotland’s North Ayrshire Prevention, Early intervention and Recovery (PEAR) Service is looking for Support Practitioners to join their small, but mighty team in Stevenston.

You will review and update support plans, carry out 1-2-1 outreach and group activities with a focus on recovery journeys, safeguarding and community safety. The role offers full-time and part-time hours with a salary between £25,879 and £26,843 pro-rata.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working in a drug and alcohol service is desirable.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
  • Values the benefits of a personal recovery journey.

Responsibilities

  • Review and update support plans, risk assessments and risk management plans.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment for colleagues, people we support and the wider community.

North Ayrshire (P.E.A.R.) Serviceis a drug and alcohol support service based in Stevenston.

What you’ll do
  • Review and update support plans, risk assessments and risk management plans.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment for colleagues, people we support and the wider community.
  • Deliver 1-2-1 outreach support
  • Deliver and participate in group workshops and group activities
