Are you looking for a brand new part-time job with satisfaction that’s hard to find elsewhere? We are now seeking new colleagues to join our #TeamNLCS in the Airdrie and Coatbridge areas!
We offer permanent contracts for 16-30 hours per week, with relief opportunities available for more flexible working.
You will play a significant role in making a difference in the lives of young people and adults with disabilities and additional support needs in the Airdrie and Coatbridge communities.
Your responsibilities include supporting individuals with daily living tasks such as attending appointments, shopping, meal planning, cooking, housework, managing finances, medication, and personal care. No two days are the same, and you’ll also get involved in activities like activity clubs, swimming, going to the gym, bowling, shopping, visiting the cinema, and going to the pub.
We recruit based on values and transferable skills, so previous experience in care or qualifications as a Support Worker are not necessary to start your career with us. We will pay you for your training and provide all the skills needed. We also fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualifications and your yearly SSSC registration fees.
Having a full UK driving licence is essential for these roles, as some of the people we support have mobility cars they enjoy using regularly.
