We are currently offering a permanent part-time position (16-20 hours per week) in Beith.
Your main responsibility will be to support a young man with Autism in his own home, assisting with daily activities such as shopping, finances, cooking, housework, and personal care. Ideally, you will be a driver, as the young man enjoys going out daily to activities like golf, visiting the arcade, taking walks, and going to parks within his community.
No prior experience is necessary; we recruit based on values and transferable skills. We will pay for your training and provide all the practical skills needed. Additionally, we will fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees.
The service operates as a sleepover service. Your shifts will typically start at 10 am and end at 2 pm the following day (Monday - Friday), or from 10 am to 10 am on weekends. Our experienced team will support you as you settle in.

Successful candidates will need to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and work towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare, with support from our Training Academy.
Our shift patterns include early mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and sleepovers, as we provide 24/7 support.
If selected, you will need to register with the SSSC within 3 months of employment. Candidates with more than 12 months spent outside the UK (excluding certain countries) in the last 10 years will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate.
