Job summary

PSPS (Public Sector Partnership Services) is seeking a Support Officer in the Revenues & Benefits team, based in Spalding or Horncastle. The role focuses on delivering accurate admin support for Council Tax, Benefits and Business Rates, ensuring efficient service delivery and performance adherence.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and strong IT literacy, with a customer‑focused approach and ability to work well within a team.

JOB TITLE: Support Officer (Revenues and Benefits)

LOCATION: Horncastle or Spalding

SALARY: £25,947 per annum

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Support Officer to join our Revenues and Benefits team. This is an important role that helps ensure residents receive efficient and effective services relating to Council Tax, Benefits and Business Rates administration. Working as part of a team, you will provide administrative support, maintain accurate records, assist customers with enquiries and help the service achieve its performance and compliance objectives.

What you'll be doing

Working Arrangements

The position will be based in Spalding or Horncastle.

Closing Date: 23rd September 2026

Provisional Interview Date: 28th September 2026

The interview will consist of a combination of questions and assessments which will look at communications skills and priority reasonings.
