Job summary

Liberton High School, part of The City of Edinburgh Council, seeks a creative and innovative Teacher of Support for Learning on a fixed-term contract until 29 June 2027. The role supports pupils within the Support for Learning department, delivering small group interventions and working with class teachers to boost universal support.

PVG checks are required. Salary ranges from £36,159 to £54,453 (pro-rata for part time) with 23.06 hours per week (0.66 FTE) across 52 weeks.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a creative and innovative individual who will apply their skills, knowledge and experience to support our pupils to achieve success within our Support for Learning department.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small group targeted interventions as part of the Support for Learning department.
• Support observations and work directly with class teachers to increase universal support across the school.
• Contribute within the Qualifications Hub when needed.
