Job summary

The Boeing Company in Welwyn Garden City is seeking a Support Engineering Data Intern to help create and maintain technical publications for aircraft maintenance, retrofit and repair. You will work with engineering inputs using automated research tools and authoring systems, with training and mentoring provided as part of our development culture.

The role is hybrid with some onsite work and requires the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Conduct quality and in-process reviews including the validation of technical publications

We are wishing to hire an Electrical/Avionics, Mechanical, or Structural engineer with a passion to support our airline customers, in the role of a Support Engineering Data Intern. The role will be based out of our Welwyn Garden City site.

Our engineers research and integrate engineering inputs to create airplane maintenance, modification and repair information using a variety of automated research tools and authoring systems. Training and mentoring will be provided as part of our culture of continuous professional development.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing technical requirements to determine project scope and deliverables

Hiring details

• This requisition is for a locally hired position in Welwyn Garden City. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll
• This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at Welwyn Garden City. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future

Basic Qualifications
