Job summary

Scottish and Southern Energy is seeking a field-based BEMS/HVAC specialist to perform pre-planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and implement system improvements across multiple sites including Reading and surrounding areas. The role requires travel to various sites and involves on-call duties as part of a standby rota.

You will deliver reports, work with stakeholders, and leverage expertise in Trend/Tridium BEMS/HVAC to enhance energy performance and sustainability for a leading UK energy

Qualifications

• Good technical experience with Trend or Tridium BEMS/HVAC building controls.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, customers, and external service providers.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional approach and a focus on meeting customer expectations.
• Ability to provide technical support, coaching, and direction to others.
• Flexible, Agile working approach with willingness to support an on-call rota.
• Full driving licence as travel to different sites is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out BMS pre-planned maintenance, small upgrades and additional works.
• Respond to and resolve reactive breakdowns during core hours and as part of the out-of-hours standby team.
• Identify system improvements, including upgrades and software improvements, to help energy performance.
• Provide detailed and concise reports based on onsite activities.
