A leading financial services firm in London is seeking a Support Engineer to enhance their IT infrastructure. In this hybrid role, you will be the first point of contact for internal users and clients, managing IT support requests and ensuring efficient operations. One of my financial clients is seeking a Support Engineer to work with them. The role offers an opportunity to develop infrastructure experience within a forward-thinking financial firm. You will report directly to the Infrastructure Manager and serve as the first point of contact for internal users and clients using the firm's proprietary web application.
The Support Engineer will manage the IT ticketing system, ensuring support requests are resolved within SLAs. Responsibilities include overseeing user access and application licensing across platforms like Office 365 and Active Directory, setting up user devices, and performing hardware upgrades.
The role also involves monitoring company systems to proactively identify issues and contributing to technical projects as needed.
