Job summary

Clancy is seeking a permanent Support Driver/Barrier Person to assist site teams across Hartlepool, driving and operating basic plant, and delivering signs and barriers to worksites.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and the ability to tow a trailer, with potential NRSWA Units 1 & 2 preference. It involves outdoor, physical work and working alone when needed, with IT devices to update job information.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and ability to tow a trailer.
• NRSWA Units 1 & 2 preferred for this role.
• Role is physically demanding and outdoors in all weather.
• Good sense of direction and ability to work alone when required.
• Comfortable using IT (phones/tablets) to manage job info.
• CSCS Card and abrasive wheels qualification are beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe operation of vehicle and plant machinery.
• Assist teams across Hartlepool area, setting up/closing worksites and delivering signs & barriers.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure sites are safe before and after work.
• Minimise disruption to residents.
