Job summary

Clancy is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2/HIAB & Plant Operator to support the UK Power Networks Overhead Line contract. You will drive, load and secure plant and equipment, assist with HIAB operations and help on-site with overhead line activities alongside other teams.

A valid HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, HIAB qualification and experience with lifting equipment are required. The role is on-site across UKPN sites and involves strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 / Category C
• Driver CPC
• Experience operating HGVs and lifting equipment
• Understanding of load security and safe vehicle movements

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate HGV Class 2 on UKPN contract
• Use HIAB/Lorry Loader for plant handling
• Transport plant, poles, materials and equipment to sites
• Load and secure excavators and other plant
• Support overhead line activities with trained equipment
• Carry out vehicle and equipment checks and report defects
• Follow RAMS, UKPN requirements and safety procedures
