Lanes Group is recruiting a Support Driver for Yorkshire operations to assist on-site teams with equipment movement and site support. The role involves delivering and collecting materials across catchment areas, driving vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, and maintaining accurate site records.

The ideal candidate holds a Full UK driving licence (6 points max), shows a can-do attitude, and is willing to travel while upholding safety and company values. This is a hands-on, customer-facing logistics role.

Responsabilidades

• Support Operations on site by collecting and delivering equipment to and from sites within the region.
• Drive a company vehicle up to 3.5 Tonne (Van, Flatbed etc).
• Communicate with Civils crews about issues needing attention and assist with loading/unloading.
• Update and complete site documentation using an electronic tablet.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness.
• Wear and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Purpose of the role

We are currently recruiting for a Support Driver to join our team in Yorkshire, you will be supporting the on-site operations by collecting and delivering equipment and materials throughout Catchment 2.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Operations on site with various tasks throughout the region such as collecting and delivering equipment to and from site from various locations as required.
• Driving a company vehicle - up to 3.5 Tonne (Van, Flatbed etc)
• Communicating with Civils crews regarding any issues that require attention and assisting with the loading and offloading of vans
• Updating and completing site documentation using electronic tablet
• Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness
• Wearing and maintaining Personal Protective Equipment.
