At Leader Education, we are seeking a Support Assistant (SEND) to support children within a SEND school who cater for students aged 11-16, this school is based in Cramlington, Northumberland. The ideal Support Assistant will have had previous experience working with young people as well as a genuine interest and commitment to helping them reach their full potential.

The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday 8:30 until 15:30.

Working with Leader Education:

The successful Candidate will:

• Candidates will need an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one
• Ideally have experience in a classroom setting or have transferrable skills
• Have a passion for teaching and learning with the ability to make learning enjoyable and fun
• Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative working
