Opus People Solutions Ltd are hiring a Support Accountant within a Local Authority client based in East Suffolk. The role is 37 hours per week, offering hybrid working (2 days on-site in Melton), and £25.00 per hour Umbrella (£19.00 PAYE), with a contract length of 3 months.

The ideal candidate will have experience with budget monitoring, forecasting and financial reporting, reconciliations and year-end accounting, and strong Excel skills, along with the ability to communicate financial

• Experience with reconciliations and year-end accounting processes.
• Strong financial systems experience and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to support non-finance stakeholders and communicate financial information clearly.
• AAT qualification or significant relevant finance experience.
• Experience within Local Government.
