Job summary

Randstad Education is recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in Reigate. You will support students on the spectrum with high-functioning autism and help integrate them into classroom activities.

The role offers a full-day schedule with hours from 8:30 to 4:30 and a daily rate of £88–£93. The ideal candidate will have 3–6 months of SEN support experience, a good understanding of autism, and an enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred) or be willing to obtain one.

Qualifications

• DBS check on Update Service or willingness to undergo one

Working Hours: 8:30-4:30(Salary: £88-93 per day)

Requirements:

• The school is near public transport options however driving is preferred.
• Enhanced Child and Adult Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to undergo one.
• Proven history of 3-6 months working with SEN pupils or transferable skills from similar industries e.g. care or support work.
• An understanding of various complex disabilities and/or autism.
• Transferrable skills from other related fields: care, support work or similar.
