Job summary

Academics is recruiting enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Epsom on an ad-hoc, short-term and temporary basis. This role offers flexible hours, immediate start, and weekly PAYE payments.

You will support teachers, assist pupils one-to-one or in small groups, and help create a positive learning environment across various primary settings in Surrey/Epsom. Training and ongoing consultant support are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with children or in an educational setting is desirable.
• CACHE Level 2/3 (preferred) in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to apply.

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Previous experience working with children or within an educational setting is desirable.
• A CACHE or NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning is preferred but not essential.
• An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
• Flexibility to work across different primary schools in and around Retford.
• A commitment to safeguarding and completing annual safeguarding training.
• The right to work in the UK.
