Supply Teaching Assistant – Gateshead

The Role:

We’re currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in the Newcastle area. As a Supply TA, you’ll play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning, assisting the class teacher, and creating a positive classroom environment.


What You’ll Be Doing:
  1. Supporting pupils with their learning in class and small group interventions
  2. Assisting children with SEN or additional needs
  3. Helping to manage classroom behaviour and routines
  4. Working closely with teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
  5. Building positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
We’re Looking For:
  1. Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)
  2. Experience working in a primary school setting is desirable
  3. A positive attitude, flexibility, and strong communication skills
  4. A valid DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
  5. Availability for at least 2 days per week
