Are you a qualified Primary Teacher looking for flexible work in a supportive school environment?

GSL Education are currently seeking passionate and reliable Supply Teachers to work on a day-to-day or long-term basis in Kelvedon primary schools, starting September 2025. This is a great opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs who want to broaden their teaching experience.

About the Role:

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will support local schools by delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment. You’ll work across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 depending on your preference and expertise.

Supply Teacher – Primary Responsibilities:

• Teach primary-aged pupils using lesson plans provided
• Ensure effective classroom behaviour and pupil engagement
• Provide feedback on pupil progress where appropriate
• Adapt to different school settings with professionalism
• Maintain safeguarding and pastoral standards at all times
• Communicate effectively with pupils, staff, and parents

Requirements for Supply Teacher – Primary:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
• Experience teaching in EYFS, KS1, or KS2 is desirable
• Good classroom and behaviour management skills
• Adaptable, approachable, and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
