Job summary

Reed is seeking enthusiastic Primary Cover Teachers to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in the UK. You will cover lessons for Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering engaging sessions and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Whether you are an experienced teacher seeking flexibility or an ECT gaining classroom experience, Reed offers competitive daily rates, flexible schedules and ongoing consultant support across diverse school settings.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent required and eligible to teach in a UK primary setting.
• Experience in UK primary schools preferred.
• Enhanced DBS via Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and year groups.
• Ensure pupils remain motivated and on task throughout the day.
• Complete basic marking and handover notes as required.
