Are you a flexible and enthusiastic primary teacher looking for a new opportunity?

We are seeking dedicated Supply Teachers to work in welcoming and supportive primary schools in Westcliff-on-Sea. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, adapt quickly to new environments, and are committed to delivering high-quality education.

About the Role:

As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher, ensuring a smooth and engaging learning experience for pupils. You will play a key role in maintaining a positive classroom environment and supporting pupils’ academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Adapt to different school settings and classroom routines with confidence.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
  • Use assessment strategies to monitor pupil progress and provide feedback.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in primary education.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and confidence in different classroom settings.
  • Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Be committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Be available for part-time or full-time work from September 2025.
  • Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
